Crisp, Clean, Contemporary Design

NO. 2 took shape after a new development rose beside our clients' former home and wiped out the mountain perspective they valued most. Rebuilding offered a chance to reclaim that outlook — and ensure it would never be threatened again.

The site was selected and oriented with that single priority in mind. Clean lines, deliberate geometry, and precise window placements create a modern structure that frames the Cascades and organizes daily life back toward the horizon. Every decision — from roofline to room sequence — was made in service of the view.

Inside, a calm, pared-back palette keeps the focus on shifting light and long views. No. 2 is a home built in Central Oregon's high desert, where the sky and the mountains are the main event — and the architecture knows it.

The result is a home that feels clear, composed, and shaped by the landscape it was designed to frame.
