Bachelor Butterfly sits on 4.5 acres at the edge of the Deschutes National Forest—ponderosa pines close enough to touch, Cascade peaks stretched across the horizon. Privacy and connection to the landscape were the priorities from day one, and everything about the home responds to that: oversized windows, carefully positioned outdoor living spaces, and a great room with sliding doors that pull completely away to open the corner to the forest.

At 4,842 square feet, there's room to spread out, but the design keeps things grounded. The home captures Central Oregon's light and landscape without competing with it—exactly the kind of restraint that makes a big house feel like home.
