A Single-Level Home Built for Movement

The brief was simple: space for family life, two dogs, and daily training. We delivered a ground-hugging, single-level home with a lap pool and home gym, oriented to the southwest for sun and woodland views. The plan bends with the site, tucking into the trees so the house feels settled in the forest—not dropped on it. Glass walls dissolve the boundary between inside and out—courtyards pull light deep into the plan, and every room opens to the pines. A sauna, gym, and lap pool make daily movement part of the architecture. The result is a home built for how this family actually lives: active, grounded, and connected to the landscape.

Inside, clean lines and natural materials keep the focus where it belongs—on the ponderosa pines just beyond the glass. Every room connects to the outdoors, and the layout moves the way the family does: gym to pool to kitchen to patio, with the forest in view the whole way. A custom home in Bend designed around daily life.
